The Brazilian Sushi Championship arrives at the Seafood Show Latin America 2024.
Get ready for a grand celebration of the art of sushi in a promising event to boost the national gastronomic scene.
At the International Seafood Trade and Technology Fair of Latin America, the Brazilian Sushi Championship celebrates Japanese cuisine in Brazil with the international presence of Sensei Hirotoshi Ogawa, director of the AJSA Sushi Skills Institute and organizer of the renowned Sushi World Cup in Japan.

ABOUT THE CHAMPIONSHIP
The Brazilian Sushi Championship is organized by the Nagoya Sushi School and led by the school’s director, André Kawai.
The program takes place over the 3 days of the Seafood Show Latin America:
1st DAY – October 22nd
3:00 PM – Masterclass with Sensei Hirotoshi Ogawa
Chat and sushi tasting presentation
2ND DAY – October 23rd
1:00 PM – Start of the competition
The 21 competitors selected by the Nagoya Sushi School will go through a series of evaluations.
3rd DAY – October 24th
1:00 PM – Grand final
The finalists will compete, and the top three winners will be announced.
5:00 PM – Award Ceremony, with the presence of the Consul of Japan in Brazil, Daisuke Hattori.
