Attitudes conscious

For events more sustainable

The impact of our actions reflects on the economy, on our daily lives and on the planet.

Selective Collection

This practice has been carried out for more than two decades at the fairs promoted by FRANCAL and reaffirms our commitment to reducing the environmental impact of large events. Waste is sorted in partnership with LC Almeida Ambiental.

Specialized professionals responsible for logistics follow up and monitor all the waste generated during the production phases:

Assembly

During the event

Disassembly

All recyclable material is donated to the Central do Tietê recycling cooperatives.

Total waste – 17.8 tons (10 tons organic – 6.6 tons recyclable – 1.2 tons wood)

Selective and cardboard garbage cans

Starting with the sustainable and biodegradable waste garbage cans, cardboard is present throughout the event in the form of specific garbage cans for recyclable and organic products. Being selective, they contribute to sorting, agility and all the logistics of disposing of recyclable waste.

Reuse and Disposal

The visitor’s badge holder and printed credential after their visit to the fair have a certain destination and everyone can contribute by leaving the materials in a specific box at the exit of the event.

Printed Material Reduction

More digital solutions to reduce the amount of printed material at the event.

Inclusion and Diversity

The event selects and hires PwD professionals for its staff.

Environmental Compensation

In addition to sending the sorted waste to the cooperative, we also achieve 100% environmental compensation for recyclables through the eureciclo seal.

This seal represents the offsetting of the total volume of recyclable materials (paper, glass, metal, and plastic) generated during the event, from setup to dismantling, through the payment of recycling credits to approved cooperatives. In other words: for every package placed in the environment, an equivalent package will be recycled.

An initiative that supports the entire recycling chain, resulting from the unity and collaboration of everyone, including you, visitor and exhibitor.

Food Donation with Purpose

170kg of food
collected

The Seafood Show Latin America, promoted by Francal, reinforced its commitment to social responsibility and the fight against food waste in its most recent edition. In partnership with Sesc Mesa Brasil, a donation and reuse of fish and seafood products was carried out at the end of the event, providing quality food to social institutions served by the program.
Throughout the three-day event, the Sesc Mesa Brasil team was present, monitoring the activities and coordinating all the logistics of the fundraising.
The final collection was carried out with the support of a refrigerated truck, thermal boxes and ice, ensuring the correct storage and transport of the food.
The food collected was destined for Sesc Mesa Brasil units for later distribution to social institutions served by the program, benefiting families and communities in situations of food insecurity.
The partnership between Seafood Show Latin America, Francal Feiras, and Sesc Mesa Brasil reaffirms their commitment to sustainability, solidarity, and combating waste.
More than just a business event, the fair has established itself as a space for connection and social transformation, promoting real impact on the lives of those who need it most.
By uniting the seafood sector with a network of solidarity, the Seafood Show Latin America demonstrates that the true value of the industry lies in its ability to generate a positive impact, nurturing not only the market, but also hope and dignity.
